800 000 persons are beating their way every day in Châtelet station of the Parisian subway, one of the biggest stage in the world! In front of the treadmill Vanupié created a buzz. Mixing skillfully soul music and spicy reggae with sincerity and subtleties Vanupié affects passers’ hearts and creates smiles and tears. Vanupié sounds like a warm travel issue as an incantation to bohemian life that the musician leaved during long years. In 2004 he decided to focus on his music and share it with the largest number of people. For that he chose the best place: Paris, his subway, pavers, gloom and people... His charming voice and unique style slow the subway rhythm of the line 14. After long years of subway music and crowd Vanupié is finally noticed by artists like Mathieu Chedid, Keziah Jones, Asa, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Luke and Madjo… In 2009 he released I-Land his first reggae EP, and this year has been selected as Europe 1’s 2013 new talent!!
